KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. Finance company, PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance (CNAF) reported that the total distribution of new financing for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) segment reached IDR 321.9 billion until December 2024.
"This figure has grown or is greater compared to the same period in the previous year," said President Director of CNAF, Ristiawan Suherman to Kontan, Friday (17/1).
Ristiawan saw that the expansion of the MSME business had begun to improve until the end of 2024, and was optimistic that it would continue this year.
In addition, he assessed that the opportunities for financing distribution to the MSME sector were still very broad. Where, the prospects for MSME financing are an opportunity for multifinance to encourage and expand financing even though regulatory strengthening is still needed.
"That way, CNAF remains consistent in supporting economic growth, especially in the MSME sector," he said.
Meanwhile, for the total distribution of new CNAF financing until December 2024, Ristiawan said it reached IDR 9.96 trillion.
"That value grew 11.4%, compared to the achievement in 2023 which was IDR 8.94 trillion," he added.
Meanwhile, based on an official statement reported by CNAF on January 17, 2024, Ristiawan said that CNAF is targeting a total distribution of new financing of IDR 9.5 trillion in 2025.
He said that to achieve this target, his party will try to implement various new strategies and initiatives, including diversifying products to increase the distribution of new financing and also maintaining the health of the company's portfolio.
