Mandala Finance recorded a non-performing loan (NPF) of 2.92% as of June 2025.

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Mandala Multifinance Tbk (Mandala Finance) recorded a non-performing financing (NPF) ratio, or non-performing loans, of 2.92% as of June 2025. This figure is a slight increase compared to the previous month.

Mandala Finance Finance Director Roberto AK Un stated that this trend was influenced by several challenges that occurred throughout the first half of 2025.

These include the national economic slowdown, high interest rates, and pressure in the motorcycle and used car segments due to declining resale prices.

"These conditions also affect debtors' motivation to continue making payments," Roberto told Kontan on Tuesday (July 8).

To maintain a manageable NPF ratio, Mandala Finance implements various risk mitigation strategies, one of which is optimal reserves. They also adhere to prudent principles in financing distribution and provide financial education to consumers.

In addition, Roberto stated that the company routinely monitors its portfolio and strengthens the implementation of effective corporate governance and risk management.

Industry-wide, according to the latest data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the gross non-performing loan (NPF) ratio for finance companies reached 2.57% as of May 2025, up from 2.43% year-on-year (YoY). Meanwhile, multifinance receivables reached Rp 504.58 trillion, growing 2.83% year-on-year.
