BFI Finance (BFIN) Has Realized a Buyback of 13.13 Million Shares

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) has implemented a share buyback. As of Monday (September 15), BFI Finance had purchased 13.13 million shares.

BFI Finance Director Sudjono explained in a disclosure to the IDX that the share buyback plan had been announced since August 1, 2025. This action was carried out amid significantly fluctuating market conditions.

Sudjono explained that the share buyback transaction had been carried out three times. The last transaction was on September 15, 2025, for 3.14 million shares, equivalent to 0.02% of the shares. The average purchase price was IDR 796.24 per share. This brought the total funds used for this action to IDR 2.5 billion.

According to the disclosure to the IDX, the remaining buyback funds were IDR 489.62 billion, of which BFIN had budgeted IDR 500 billion. This brings the total budget allocated by BFI Finance for share buybacks to IDR 10.38 billion.

BFI Finance's previous buyback was conducted on August 29, 2025, for 8 million shares at IDR 785.9 per share. This brings the total funds used by BFI Finance to IDR 6.29 billion. BFI Finance's next share buyback was conducted on September 1, 2025, for 2 million shares at an average price of IDR 790.22 per share.

BFI Finance's share price has weakened 11.83% year-to-date to IDR 805 per share. Compared to the same period last year, BFI shares have fallen 14.55%. However, in the last five days, BFI shares have risen 5.92%.
