KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT Mandiri Utama Finance (MUF) strengthened its support for accelerating the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia through the Coffee & Drive: EV & Hybrid Experience program, held on June 26–27, 2026, in collaboration with Bank Mandiri and a network of automotive dealers.
The event, which took place at Pani Sedayu City Kelapa Gading, Kopitagram Centang Biru BSD, and Taste & See Summarecon Bogor, featured 15 automotive brands with electric (EV) and hybrid vehicles that visitors could test drive.
Acting President Director of MUF, Dapot Parasian Sukoco Sinaga, emphasized that financing is a crucial factor in accelerating electric vehicle adoption, in addition to infrastructure and technological readiness. "Developing an electric vehicle ecosystem requires cross-sector collaboration between the financing industry, banking, and automotive players," he said in a statement on Tuesday (June 30, 2026).
According to him, accelerating EV adoption is determined not only by product availability, but also by affordable and accessible financing support. Therefore, MUF strives to provide competitive financing solutions while providing consumers with first-hand experience to increase their understanding and confidence in electric vehicle technology.
Through the Coffee & Drive: EV & Hybrid Experience program, PT Mandiri Utama Finance (MUF) provides the public with the opportunity to try out electric vehicles and gain information on financing schemes.
This program is part of MUF's efforts to expand access to financing for environmentally friendly vehicles and increase EV literacy in Indonesia. MUF offers financing with interest rates starting at 1.99% through Livin' Auto, along with various incentives such as a Rp1 admin fee, discounts of up to 50%, shopping vouchers, and third-party liability insurance coverage.
In collaboration with automotive dealers, MUF also provides test drives and various promotions, including discounts, bonus accessories, installment subsidies, and priority units for financing customers. To attract consumer interest, MUF is offering a Lucky Dip program for SPK buyers during the event, with prizes of electronics, audio equipment, and vehicle accessories for the first 10 SPKs per location per day.
Dapot said this initiative underscores MUF's role in supporting the electric and hybrid vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia. He added that with the support of improving infrastructure and financing, the EV market is expected to continue to grow positively.
