CNAF Distributed Rp 934 Billion in New Financing Outside Java in the First Half of 2026

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance (CNAF) recorded new financing disbursement outside Java of IDR 934 billion in the first half of 2026.

CNAF President Director Ristiawan Suherman revealed that through the first half of this year, the company had disbursed a total of IDR 3.7 trillion in new financing.

Of this total, approximately 75% still came from Java, amounting to IDR 2.7 trillion, while financing outside Java contributed around 25%. CIMB Niaga Auto Finance President Director Ristiawan Suherman stated that financing in Java remains stronger due to relatively higher economic activity and consumption levels.

Meanwhile, financing growth in several regions outside Java was more selective in the first half of 2026, following regional economic dynamics and the characteristics of each business sector.

He stated that fiscal conditions in several regions are indeed a factor that companies should pay close attention to because they have the potential to impact the local economy. However, the impact on the national financing industry remains variable.

"So far, we cannot conclude that there has been a weakening of financing outside Java because conditions vary between regions depending on the resilience of their respective economies," he told Kontan on Thursday (July 30, 2026).

Entering the second half of 2026, CNAF continues to anticipate various challenges, including regional fiscal conditions and the characteristics of regional economies, which are heavily supported by the commodity sector.

To maintain business growth, the company will continue to implement a selective financing distribution strategy, strengthen risk management, and utilize digitalization to ensure healthy and sustainable financing growth.
