Toyota Astra Financial's Profit Grows 24.79% to Reach Rp 482 Billion in the First Half of 2026

KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. One of Astra Financial's financing business units, Toyota Astra Financial Services (TAFS), recorded positive performance in the first half of 2026. This positive performance was reflected in the company's revenue and net profit growth.

According to the financial report published in the Indonesia Stock Exchange's information disclosure, TAFS recorded a net profit of IDR 482.63 billion in the first half of 2026. This represents a 24.79% increase compared to IDR 386.75 billion in the same period last year.

TaFS Financial Controller Division Head Lina explained that the company's profit growth was partly due to its strong financing growth.

"In addition, the company continues to maintain the quality of its financing receivables by proactively undertaking prudent acquisitions and better handling," she told Kontan on Monday (August 3, 2026).

The company's profit growth was also supported by revenue growth. The company's revenue reached IDR 2.35 trillion in the first half of 2026. Its value grew 5.86% compared to the same period last year, which amounted to IDR 2.22 trillion.

The main contributor to the company's revenue in the first half of 2026 was consumer financing, amounting to IDR 1.90 trillion. This represents a 7.34% increase compared to the same period last year, which amounted to IDR 1.77 trillion.

Lina stated that this revenue growth was also driven by TAFS's strategy to maintain market share amid increasingly fierce business competition. She explained that the company consistently provides the best products and services to consumers.

The company has been observed to have successfully kept expenses from increasing significantly, thus optimizing profit. TAFS's total expenses were recorded at IDR 1.74 trillion in the first half of 2026, a slight increase of only 0.58% compared to IDR 1.73 trillion in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the company's assets, equity, and liabilities all grew. Specifically, TAFS recorded assets of IDR 40.62 trillion in the first half of 2026. Its value grew 6.33% compared to last year's achievement of IDR 38.20 trillion.

The company's total liabilities were recorded at IDR 34.04 trillion in the first half of 2026. This represents a 4.83% increase compared to IDR 32.47 billion at the end of 2025.

Furthermore, TAFS' equity grew 14.83%, from IDR 5.73 trillion at the end of 2025 to IDR 6.58 trillion in the first half of 2026. The company's non-performing financing ratio was 0.42%.
