KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT CIMB Niaga Auto Finance (CNAF) recorded cash loan disbursements totaling IDR 1.17 trillion as of August 2026. This figure represents a 67% increase compared to the same period last year, when disbursements stood at IDR 701 billion.
According to CNAF President Director Ristiawan Suherman, demand for cash loans continues to grow despite pressure on public purchasing power.
"This growth aligns with the public's need for liquidity for various purposes," Ristiawan told Kontan on Wednesday (September 30, 2026).
As of August 2026, CNAF had booked total financing of IDR 4.77 trillion.
Despite the rise in financing, CNAF remains focused on maintaining healthy growth by applying prudential principles and upholding portfolio quality to support sustainable business expansion.
Looking ahead to the remainder of the year, Ristiawan sees continued growth opportunities, although public purchasing power and macroeconomic dynamics remain challenges that require close monitoring.
CNAF intends to capitalize on existing opportunities while continuing to adhere to prudential principles and maintain portfolio quality. The company has set a total financing target of IDR 9.6 trillion for the year.
